Large Screen TVs

The Club has two large TVs located in the main bar area. We have an additional TV in a separate function room.

We have subscriptions to Sky (HD) and BT (HD) and we show all major sporting events, including Premiership and International football, Rugby, Golf and Horse Racing.

Professional Snooker Tables

We have two professional-quality snooker tables in a dedicated snooker room. The tables are free to use although a nominal fee is required for lighting. There are regular inter-club tournaments and the Bearsted & Thurnham Club is active in the Kent league currently with two teams.

Free WiFi

We have free WiFi for all members and guests and this is available in all areas of the club, including the patio area. Please ask the bar staff for the password or see the noticeboards in the Club.

In the bar.

The club has a selection of games behind the bar for members to use (free of charge). These include professional-quality playing cards, cribbage boards, dominoes, backgammon, darts, plus some other favourites.

We regularly have special events, and member's nights throughout the year. We have quiz nights, live music, comedians etc, and these are typically open to guests as well as members. Sign up to our Newsletter to be kept informed.

Committee Room

The Committee room is available for all Members to hold private functions or business meetings and is free of charge.

The room can seat approximately 20 people and tables and chairs can be provided. We have a large wall-mounted TV, which can be used for presentations and also free Wi-Fi.

Alcohol is permitted in the room and can be brought from the bar. Food is also avaible for any number of people and can be pre-ordered.

Please note that any Guests wishing to use the bar area must be signed in by a Member in the normal way although this doesn't apply to the Committee room.
